The wasteland to maintain sin (?) cavaliers by name

Os Diggers formaram juntamente com os Levellers, Quakers e Hunters uma resistência radical na Inglaterra do século XVII contra as trnsformações políticas e religiosas. Revindicavam a reforma agrária, anti-clericalismo e questionavam os valores da propriedade privada, aliás, tomavam as terras do estado e da igreja para cultiva-las (Isso em 1646!).Eram liderados  por Gerrard Winstanley, que apesar de cristão criticava os valores religiosos. Um excelente livro que relata esses acontecimentos é  " O Mundo De Ponta-Cabeça" de Christopher Hill, que ao decorrer de todo livro se esforça para mostrar o lado esquecido pela história da revolução gloriosa, com seu estudo passa a dar voz ativa ao povo que até então não passava de espectador.A luta desses grupos de origem simples nos táz uma voz, um grito, uma súplica por igualdade, um basta a exploração. Porém ao analisar-mos nossa sociedade vemos que essas necessidades igualitárias ainda não foram alcançadas, após as revoluções burguesas uma nova ordem entrou em cena mas as condições da classe trabalhadora praticamente não mudaram,grupos de sem-terra ainda são frequentes, desigualdade na destrubuição de terras também, alienação religiosa ainda se faz presente. Então, quando virão os novos Diggers?
